News of the World, a British tabloid newspaper and a subsidiary of Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation, may be in serious legal trouble. British police are examining claims that the paper's reporters paid private investigators to hack into phones, many of them owned by politicians and celebrities. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/8142047.stm It will be interesting to see if any of this impacts the credibility of Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation. |
